iWork '06 and Keynote 3 Announced
Steve Jobs announced the release of iWork '06 today that include Keynote 3. This long-anticipated release includes a number of new features that will bring Keynote to the next step. Then new features include:
- New HD Themes
- New Cinematic Transitions
- 3D Charts
- Freeform Curves, shapes, and image masks
- Image editing within Keynote (much like iPhoto)
- Image reflections
- Tables that include calculations
- Review Comments that look like sticky notes
- New ways to export and share your presentations
A 30-day free trial demo will be included on new Macs.

New Laptop Announced
There was something every road warrior will be interested in seeing. Steve Jobs also announce the new Intel-based laptop, the MacBook Pro. The MacBook sports a 15.4 inch widescreen display and is driven by either a 1.67 or 1.83 GHZ Intel Core Duo. This laptop should be really smooth operating and good looking. The MacBook also has a built-in iSight for the ability to video conference no matter where you may travel.
One last feature that will grab the attention of presenters is a remote control that will work with the included Front Row software as well.
